Scenic Carpenter, Oregon Shakespeare Festival

December 2012- Feb 2013

Carpenter, Portland Center Stage

Rejoined the crew at the beginning of the 2013 season. I was able to bring back techniques and best practices I was able to implement and share with other crew members. Such as, using contact adhesive for our final skin of platforms, instead of white glue and staples for a smooth texture.

Hired on to strike a set down in late December. A week after I was called back to work on a week to week basis. I built many flats, some columns, and worked two load-ins.

March 2011 - June 2011, September 2011- December 2012

Scenic Fabricator, Bella Faccia Inc.

June 2011- August 2011

Assistant Technical Director, Cortland Repertory Theatre

Rejoined the crew at the beginning of the 2013 season. I was able to bring back techniques and best practices I was able to implement and share with other crew members. Such as, using contact adhesive for our final skin of platforms, instead of white glue and staples for a smooth texture.

During my time as the ATD at Cortland Repertory Theatre, we built 7 sets in 14 weeks. We struck a show and installed a new shoe in a 3 to 4 day period, mostly working overnight. We set up shop and built our scenery in an old gutted bowling alley which provided us with enough space to have a shop area and a paint deck. Hauling scenery and tools back and forth.

March 2008 - November 2010

Over Hire Carpenter, Oregon Shakespeare Festival

While finishing undergrad, I began working as an over-hire carpenter at OSF.I continued to work in the shop off and on for three season working on about half of the shows that were produced. This consisted of producing high quality scenery in a reasonable time frame, while learning new skills and maintaining the space.

June 2008 - November 2010

Stage Hand, Oregon Shakespeare Festival

As run crew we changed over the scenery, for 11 shows in three Theatres between performances, multiple times daily for 9 months. I worked as props run crew and automation run crew.
